Your mic literally puts studio technology in your hands.

Our MTP 940 CM employs a 1″ true condenser capsule for a natural and well-balanced sound. Its ultra-thin, gold-layered 1″ diaphragm delivers first-class studio sound. Unique suspension technology provides a high degree of shock resistance and effectively minimizes structure-borne noise. Let the audience hear your voice in full magnitude.

1″ true condenser capsule

Experience studio tech in a handheld body.

Our MTP 940 CM puts real studio performance in your hands: the large diaphragm capsule captures your voice with a high level of detail, clearly and authentically.

It uses the same technology as our top studio microphones.

Studio technology and specs

Premium sound in the studio and on stage.

Using the same technology as our high-end studio microphones, the MTP 940 CM boasts a huge dynamic range of 123 dB (A).

With only 17 dB (A) of self-noise, you can use the MTP 940 CM not only on stage but also in the studio.

Low-cut and pre-attenuation

Studio features to adapt your sound.

On the inside of the microphone, you can activate a pre-attenuation pad of -6, -12 dB for loud sources and a low-cut at 80 Hz, and 160 Hz to reduce structure-borne noise.

Multi-pattern design

Three ways to focus on your voice.

The MTP 940 CM provides three polar patterns: cardioid, supercardioid, and wide cardioid.

Set to cardioid unwanted reflections and background noise are effectively suppressed. Switch to supercardioid for even more gain before feedback. Wide cardioid is optimal for multiple background singers, small ensembles, or artists who move a lot while performing.
