Description
The 4115 Broadcaster’s Noise Cancelling Ribbon Microphone is used for close indoor talking situations where good quality broadcasting and public address announcement speech is required to be reproduced in conditions with high background noise present.
The 4115 has a proven reliable performance capability, being since its introduction, used by broadcasters throughout the world.
The high degree of acoustic damping applied to the robust corrugated aluminum ribbon ensures freedom from resonance and relative immunity to handling noises and mechanical shocks.
There are many situations in which speech is partially or completely drowned out by background noise; for example in aircraft, sawmills, shunting yards, or power stations. Yet these are all places where it may be a matter of life and death to have spoken instructions heard and obeyed without a second’s delay.
The 4115 is the microphone of choice for these circumstances.
There are two special versions for use in aircraft where, in addition to the other requirements, it needs to be compatible with the aircraft’s electronics. These models are approved by the Civil Aviation Authority and are also the choice of aircraft manufacturers and airlines.
