  • About This Project

    Project

The University of Miami’s Music Engineering and Technology program was one of the original 4 year degree oriented educational facilities for Recording Engineers created by Bill Porter (Elvis Presley’s engineer among others) back in the 1970’s. Bills vision was always innovative and it was time for a new Studio after many upgrades to their existing studios over the years. Parsons Audio along with Sonic Space created an innovative new facility featuring 3 new consoles, including the Avid S6, state of the art outboard and routing gear along with Genelec monitoring systems. This new facility will clearly lead the way for the next generation of engineers, producers and creative musicians for years to come.
