Description

The Radial Twin-City is an active amp selector that lets you connect any two guitar amps and switch between them or drive them both simultaneously without noise, loss of gain, or any degradation to your natural guitar tone.

Active circuitry for noise-free switching

The Tonebone Twin-City uses a class-A input buffer to drive the amp outputs, which reduces susceptibility to noise and allows for completely silent switching on stage. To eliminate hum and buzz from ground loops, the Twin-City is equipped with an isolation transformer on output-B, along with a ground lift switch and 180⁰ polarity reverse switch that ensures both amplifiers playback in phase with each other. At the input, Drag Control load correction allows you to recreate the natural load on the pickups as if you were connected directly to a tube amplifier, allowing the natural tone of your instrument to shine through.

The Twin-City ABY is an active switcher that utilizes electronic impulse switching for silent and professional operation on stage. Bright LED indicators provide instant visual feedback and let you know which outputs are active. Drag™ control load correction allows you to optimize the impedance presented to your pickups to recreate the tone of a direct connection from the guitar to the amplifier. Radial’s built-in Class-A buffer allows long cable runs without signal loss, and a ground lift eliminates buzz and hum between amplifiers. The Twin-City is constructed from 14-gauge steel for extreme durability and is easily powered with standard 9V power supplies.
